IM IN MANCHESTER! *Waves

After much nagging from my Bestie Joanne Teh to re-blog, i decided to layan her. So yah! Im BACK! Im currently in Manchester! United Kingdom. Im studying Landscape Architecture now. Whoots :) The weather here is so moody, where it rains every 5 out of 7 days and the wind is so strong till Ive just thrown away my 3rd umbrella in 3 months. really need to get a good one asap.

Also, i just came back from Barcelona, Spain! A uni class trip. I LOVE THE WEATHER! THE SUN! i even had a suntan. && i miss the yummy Spanish omlettes and Tapas. When visiting parks, urban spaces, GAUDI and the Cathedral and some building i-forgot-what-issit-called.

Living in Catered Hall is AWESOME. They serve really good food. Gosh, i have soooo sooo soooo many things to talk about , but now, i need to sleep (im currently sleep deprived). More pictures and post coming up!

I'm rather sloppy

I don't understand why do we have to make beds? Dont we just get into it a few hours later?
Bummer, i missed Camporama'09.

I really need to start doing something productive till August, then I'll be off to Uni. Baby sitting twins is NOT AN EASY TASK AT ALL! With the crying& Hi 5 & porridge. Though its really nice getting the cash later on.

Just came back from the Jones's Farewell Dinner, they are moving to Dubai. Mom just baked Kuih Bakar. Yumm :p

Im gonna miss Ellie. The little cute red headed. That gives me little hugs ever Friday.
Now, it seems that everyone is leaving to everywhere.

Right now outside, its 48 degrees. Its Summertime in Abu Dhabi. Even when im in the car it's soo sticky-ly hot. Ohh i need an iced popsicle now. I want them to have ice-cream trucks like they have in Dubai & Malaysia. I used to hear "Padalpop" or something like that back home. teehee.

Graduating Ceremony, Dinner & Prom

As Seniors we are require to attend the most rubbish dinner EVER! The Graduation Dinner. :(
So "called" the WHITE party, which made us fork out Hundreds of Dirham for a lousy Buffet and Lebanese dancing.

3 days later was the graduating ceremony itself. Ohh! I got to wear a gown. :) Hehehhee
I felt rather Gossip girley. That morning itself we had practice which was merely the principal shouting across the arena, "1 feet away from the person in front of you!', "walk faster", "yalah" and "dont talk". Could not take pics, because that was the rule, we were 'supposed' to buy from the school.


Then it was PROM! Oh yeah babby! Had TONS OF FUN. dancing, screaming. Did my hair, went to Hala's for pre-prom thingee. Then waited till the limo came. Guys started smoking CIGARS yucks. Then they got tipsy from Russian Water (Vodka).

Eylul's Farewell Bash

Since now HIGH SCHOOL IS OFFICIALLY OVER! oh Yeah Babyy! Everyone is flying off to their respective countries for holidays or either university. Graduation and Prom is around the corner. Just a second ago, i just realized that i am indeed graduating from class 2007-2009.
Just got my tickets and graduating gown. There goes school uniforms, yellow & red slips, small lockers & zaatar sandwhich.

Suddenly, my class has turned into a love nest, everyone is dating each other. Which to me, the timing is pretty latee considering we are done with school and jetting off to uni. "long distance relationship". Haahaa, hope it last.

"Final Week"

Finally, we get out of our last class of the day before the prayer starts..Finally, we no longer have to sit through that "class" where the teacher talks in such a droning monotone that we struggle to stay awake. But before we can toss our worries aside, we have to face "external week" : thick text books, notes, research papers, french verbs and a 2 year's worth of studying cramped in a month.

No one knows what day is it anymore. Instead student measure time by how many papers more to go. Red Bull, coffee and junk food become your best friends. Another common sight is "emotionally breakdown" students. Which is a normal. IB students especially.

No one can truly commiserate with you unless your an IB students, and we all share a the perks and joys being an IB student, ( we get to use the Media lab 24/7) and the cruel exhaustion it brings .

To top is off, Abu Dhabi International School tough love means you've barely recovered from externals before you're kicked into university of your choice. Bleuk.

Busy bee busy bee what you have for me?

My April have been full of mocks, IA's more IA's, snicker bars, maths past paper, gossip girl, American Next Top Model cycle 12, art portfolio, books, more books, shopping in Dubai, Boys over Flowers, lazing around Sophia's house, watching movies, nagging from teachers, talking about how Ashley stalks Alex , making fun of Ralph's bird nest like hair, ditching ethics,watching TV, finding my iPod wire charger thingee, making cards (yes, my creativity juice is very limited now). Cold stone creamery,talking on the phone, more talking on the phone, baking cookies and apple pie, bumming around the house, youtube, ohhh i lovee youtubee :D and mostly most importantly comp CRASHED, i mean literally went BLANK. THANK GOD the all the doc and stuff were saved. Ohhhh! i learned to drive! Because in AD when ure 18 then u can only get ure license so therefore i can't drive legally, though on the hind set, i like being driven around by my driver. hahah.

Here in AD, EVERYONE, i mean literally EVERYONE wears perfume to school. If you don't wear means u never mandi kinda like . And everyone has their own signature smell, like Eylul's is Nina Ricci, Sophia's is Gucci, Batool's is Lacoste Pink and my fav smell Hanan's Dior. Ohhh and Paco Robanne on guys is like whosssh. Darn smexxxy.
